UPDATE; WE DECIDED TO MAKE LEMON POPPY SEED LOAVES INSTEAD OF CAKIES…  THE CAKiES ARE SO SOFT AND STICKY IN THE WARM WEATHER AND ARE A PACKAGING NIGHTMARE. SORRY… The idea for these came from baking off the extra batter when we make the loaves, but we had never considered selling them. And when we did finally decided to, we realized how fragile they would be…

Vegan Shop Up will be back at Pine Box Rock Shop this Saturday, June 15th, to bring some tasty goodies your way. The Shop Up runs from 12 noon until 6 pm. Pine Box Rock Shop is at 12 Grattan St. in the Bushwick section of Brooklyn. Admission is FREE! As always.

With the warmer weather, we have re-worked our menu. A lot. It gets warm at the old Pine Box, so we will be making fewer chocolates and frosted items until the fall. Please consider reserving  your chocolates in advance, as quantities will be limited.

It's rhubarb season. HUZZAH!!! We will have raspberry rhubarb bars and strawberry rhubarb coffeecake muffins.

Along with our seasonal rhubarb items, we are super excited about the return of the Lemon Poppy Seed Loaves. These are a classic, rich Gone Pie favorite… which I can’t believe I don’t have a photo of!
