I call this package, the I don’t eat animals – not even chocolate – package. :-)

For those uncomfortable with eating a coconut filled chocolate egg or biting the head off a chocolate bunny, this is the package for you. All the goodies will be festively packaged in a bed of “green grass”; perfect for giving as is or ready to transfer to your Easter Basket.

Celebrate with 2 chocolate peanut butter vegan milk chocolate lollipops, 3 unbaked brownie bites, and 3 mini peanut butter caramel rice crispy treats.

Chocolate lollipops: The packages includes the daisy that is pictured, as well as a big peace sign. Each lollipop is over 1 1/2 ounces of fairtrade, organic chocolate blended with peanut butter and coconut milk. We then dip it in 70% dark, vegan, fairtrade, organic chocolate.

Unbaked brownie bites: These are the most delicious little treats, inspired by a request from a regular Gone Pie fan. A smooth and rich blend of organic dates; organic blanched almonds; organic walnuts; organic cashews; organic fairtrade cocoa powder; sea salt; and organic fairtrade vanilla, that we dip in 70% dark, vegan, fairtrade, organic chocolate and garnish with a blanched almond slice.

Mini peanut butter rice crispy treats: These were so popular for Valentine’s Day, that we are bringing them back for Easter. A chewy rich peanut butter caramel and rice crispy treat, dipped in 70% dark, vegan, fairtrade, organic chocolate.

Our second bundle includes chocolate peanut butter bunnies, coconut eggs, and these absurdly cute coconut patties!!

Our second bundle includes some more traditional Easter offerings; chocolate bunnies and coconut filled chocolate eggs, as well as everything offered in bundle number #1.  Trust me, the additional items are awesome! If you want a visual (and who would blame you), please check back later this week, when we have photos of these items for you! feast your eyes! This bundle is big: 2 chocolate lollipops (a bunny and a daisy); 2 solid milk chocolate/cashew bunnies; 2 coconut filled chocolate eggs; 2 brownie bites and 2 rice crispy treats! That’s a feast of ethical chocolate treats!

Solid chocolate bunnies: Each bunny is over 1 1/2 ounces of fairtrade, organic chocolate blended with cashew and coconut based caramel, giving the chocolate a creamy, rich taste.

Coconut filled chocolate eggs: Each dark chocolate egg is filled with a rich coconut cream that is a simple, creamy agave sweetened coconut mixture. And it is divine!

Easter Sampler #2

When folks eat chocolate bunnies and chocolate eggs, nobody gets hurt or exploited. Never give a live animal as a gift. Animals are a lifetime commitment. The idea may sound good at gift giving time, but so many of these animals are surrendered to already overcrowded shelters.  Giving them as gifts encourages continued breading and abandonment of  animals.

I struggled with whether or not to offer the bunnies and the eggs. In the end, I decided, if someone wants an ethically produced more traditional Easter treat, I should let go of my misgivings. Living in a non-vegan world is hard enough. Let’s make it easier for those that want to celebrate Easter traditionally to do so in an ethical manner.

For Easter we decided it would be fun if we let you select your own combination of treats.  So fill your shopping cart with the goodies you want for Easter and we will ship them to you.

We will happily send your gifts for you as well.

This build your own bundle o’ goodies thing is new for us and we haven’t quite figured out the shipping fees for all the possible goodie combinations. Once you order is filled, we will invoice you for shipping. We anticipate most orders — except really big or small ones –  costing $10 to ship. Shipping to multiple addresses will result in multiple shipping fees.

Our crowd pleasing peanut butter cups are all dressed up for Easter. Each PB cup is in a little box on a base of  “grass”. A perfect Easter basket addition! ($4.00 each)

Chocolate cherry easter treats

Seems like all my best ideas are last minute ones. I always lose track of the date… But just barely in time for Easter we have rich and yummy chocolate cherry cups! The filling is an amazingly rich blend of nuts and fruit surrounded by a rich chocolate almond butter cup. These may even be more decadent than the peanut butter cups!
